That did the trick!

Thanks guys.

Happy New Year indeed!

Great news!

After many many firmware updates since day 1 of FiiO X7 1st, now I always reset database, in android mode clean Fiiomusic and imageloader folders and re-scan all tracks again. This seems to kill most evilness

No problems with slot 2, two 400gb cards in each slot.

Thanks, that's is a very nice amount of space indeed. I wonder why it does work without problems for some, but not for others. What kind of cards are you using?

Thanks, so two people using Sandisk cards succesfully. No idea if the kind of card matters, but what kind have you tried @brokengundam?

EDIT: The card that was giving me trouble in slot 2, but not slot 1, is a Sandisk Ultra 32GB HC-I Class 10. Mind you, no card was in slot 1 when this card was causing trouble in slot 2.

I was using both slots. Both cards are Sandisk Ultra 256GB Class 10 XC-1. Neither of the cards were fully loaded. For me, slot 2 is trash. If the player goes to sleep, slot 2 "disconnects," deleting any songs from slot 2 I had put in queues or playlists, while slot 1 songs in same queues/playlists (poweramp) were unaffected. I like to make 6 -10 hour playlists/queues for work (I use the player as a background music player at the bar I work at), and it's rather frustrating to have spent an hour or two making lists only to have some or all the songs queued up disappear from the lists due to being located in the second slot. Once the second slot has been rescanned, it works fine, although slot 2 songs need to be readded to queues/playlists.. (at least until the player goes to sleep again).

Bought myself x7 mk2 a week ago, what fantastic sound it has with my JVC HAFW01. Fantastic player everything no matter the genre sounds fantastic. The Beatles hi res collection sounds better than the vinyls, great job Fiio.

Hi Fiio Support,

Sorry it’s taken me a while, but I’ve just sent your support address an email with a playlist attached. I’m really hoping you can fix the issue where playlists on the Fiio Music app do not show in the order they were curated. This is a real pain as I create playlists for all the music I want on my player. To have everything then show in track order is a real pain. Please reach out to me for any other info you need. I’m sure this would be a real simple fix and I and others would appreciate it.

Regards,

Guys

Pls suggest .... if I use 3rd party apps like Hiby to stream music from my NAS will there be any degradation of music quality when played on 3rd party apps ?

Just to add I have 96 and 192khz flax and dsd files along with normal CD quality files to stream
Dear friend,

If some third party APPs have their own decoding library and down sampling the songs, it is not affected by the X7MKII but the software itself.

Best regards
