Sounds good! and the zep ...how did you go about getting them to Mark down? Did you email asking? .
    Thanks in advance

Did email first but they told me they always mark it down anyway, but I just added it into the PayPal message. Or if using your credit card just add a message in the check out area, did buy the adaptor 4.4-2.5 but I'm happy enough with the 3B I'm going to re terminate both my iem cables to 4.4mm.

@ledzep I'm in the process of making some 4.4 balanced Cables at the moment just waiting on parts , I may buy the fiio adapter as well though as it's cheap and handy.

    Dear friend,

This requirement was proposed by the distributor in Japan according to the need for their local users. So our engineers made some modification in this firmware. Actually, 2G internal storage can be enough for daily using. Updating to 4G internal storage will occupy the storage for saving the music files as well. If any other users would need this firmware, we could provide it as well.

    Best regards

Actually the android apps now occupy a lot of free space, I almost just install a few music players (no social media apps, no browser, no anything, except music apps) on X7ii and my internal storage only has about 300Mb left.....which is quite little.....

Is there English in such firmware? I really want to have additional 2gb for internal apps....

    I can't understand you.
Expansion of internal storage is not a function unique to the Japanese region.
Why don't you provide that function as Global FW?
"Because it was a function requested by Japan, you provided it only in Japan." > ??????
If there is a request a function from USA, will you provide that function to USA only?
Expansion of Internal storage is a useful function independent of the region.
I can't understand FiiO's policy of providing function to only region where it was requested.

I just try to update to 1.0.7JP. The X7II is totally different beast, everything runs smoother, neutron does not feel sluggish anymore, chrome too and many other apps, finally happy with X7II.
So my question here, why does this restrict to JP only but not the whole world?
Why do you need to separate to 2 partition one for system and one for storage? Why not have one like regular android devices are running?

I have a hypothesis, most Fiio technician tested it but not really used it, if any of them really used it, they will find a need for more internal memory :ksc75smile::ksc75smile::ksc75smile:
