Settings -> Audio Hardware -> Follow Source Frequency - that's pretty much it.

Also, make sure to disable DSD, DSD over PCM (DoP) and also the Native DSD option "hidden" inside it (for now), as native DSD support for FiiO devices is still work in progress and, depending on the combination of settings, playback will either fall back to PCM conversion or there will be white noise.

I don't understand the "Nevermind" thing.

I was going to respond to your two threads, but decided to delete them and couldn't so I just changed to never rmind. Let's just leave it at that.

Recent FW update fixed the stuttering issue when using viper eq. I'm real glad Fiio is taking feedback and complaints very seriously.

Thanks Fiio for the amazing work!

I didn't even notice that actually

Amazing work from FiiO, I really hope that the next 2-3 updates will fix all the things that are left, and then X7mkii will rule on the software asd much as it does on the hardware.

I definitely hope so. Then it would close to perfect.

Hello George, hope you enjoy your Incubus even more with the new FW!

    I really do!

Incubus sounds so amazing on X7mkii and Amiron, and also on something like X7mkii and RE2000

Hope you also keep rocking in there! :L3000:

Hey guys wanting a little help, I have the AK100II and thinking of an upgrade. I went into my local store today, and they let me listen to the AK70MKII and I didn't mind it at all, then I tried the Fiio X7II, which was what I initially went in to try out. I was using a pair of their Fiio F9 and was finding that there was a bit of a lack of bass? I did fiddle with the EQ but the sliders did not really change much. Could this be due to the IEM I was using? maybe the tips did not get a good seal? they were using balanced too, I did like the better volume compared to my 100II. Basically I am looking for a worthy upgrade. The UI of the AK was far nicer, but Fiio was way bigger like a phone, and I think was running old firmware, the Fiio EQ seemed to not do anything much

I couldn't decide so I said I would do more research. I liked the overall size of the 70MKII, and the volume knob was better, as with the 100II I sometimes get it change in my pocket. The current phones I have are the RHA T20I and Momentum 2 over ears, I thought I would pick up the Fiio F9 or F9Pro while I was upgrading, any thoughts on this?

To give you some more info, the AK100II was my first DAP, and I would often bump the bass up a bit too.

    Dear friend,

For 1 and 3, we would report to the engineers and consider about that. The album images may not be visible from folder viewing.

Maybe you should add another type of playlist (by folders), in which to display the contents of the indexed folders (even if in a 1-level list) together with the pictures? After all, in the playlists you can show the images.
It's strange, other programs can do it.
    Thanks for your reply

I think it has to be a fit/seal issue. The F9 had great bass.

There is a slider in the top right conrner, if I'm not mistaken, which you need to enable, so that the EQ works on X7mkii. Chances are, you were playing with the sliders, but the EQ itself was not engaged.

As for the bass, I doubt X7mkii lacks bass
