Can't wait for my AM3 to arrive, your notes on SQ of AM3 balanced just make the wait harder ... 

Btw, they are very much in line with a couple of other opinions, general opinions seem to be very consistent.
 
Really don't mind much about battery life beeing shorter, I have a powerbank always on my backpack when needed, powerfull enough to fill X7 more than four times. Maybe I should have sticked only with AM3 together with the original AM1, but now I have AM2 also on route ...

  Why Questyle couldn't reverse-engineer a X5ii's wheel and use it on their QP1R is beyond me.

I think yes too, but a bit redundant with AM3 as it also has a SE output.
 
I don't own big cans so my intention is to use exclusively X7/AM3 balanced with my universal Angie II

so for all of you: FiiO once said that there would (probably) be new updates once per mohth, recently they said that they're working on it, but that they want to combine a number of things in the update.
 
There is no OTA,
which also means that there is no impression of the new firmware
which also means that there is no new firmware, and no OTA notification on the X7.

I was asking about ETA - Estimated Time of Arrival - basically I was asking when can we expect the new firmware since last month FiiO said "next month" so it should be released this month
