i totally hope for at least 128gb on board and 1 microsd.

1&3 FTW. 2&4 with circular album art looks clean, but not a big fan, seeking the progress bar will be wonky.
Love the color selection. Progress bar around the play/pause button on the last one is a nice touch.
Like other's mentioned 'Bluetooth selector' is not that important on 'Now Playing' screen, when android has a drop-down quick menu. You can move the 'Favourite' button from 'Progress Bar' to this place on picture one. Fonts and icons looks spot on. Can't wait for release, so excited!!

Is it possible to show the song bit rate and frequency on say image 1, top left corner under the EQ sliders. i.e something like HR: 24bit 96Khz or HQ: 24bit 192khz in white, size 8ft would do it?
 
And when then is the release date and how much work is there to go?

yes, and most TAGs information can be edited in the menu.

Re neutron.. it's a very complicated and frustrating UI! That was definitely a joke on my behalf. I like your proposed UI much better

Re rockbox.. I have my clip zip rockboxed. It has a lot of options, but I could at least fumble my way through it (unlike neutron lol).

Good point! I won't be doing it with neutron, but it's very cool that it's a possibility. And if I can stream from spotify (and play spotify tunes offline), and tidal, and stream soundcloud and ektoplazm and bandcamp etc, then I'll be a very happy camper
