So, I'd been using this thing for a while now, and I had been using the lineout jack for my headphones. It sounded fine, I didn't really have a problem with it. But today, I put it on, and I was like, okay this doesn't sound right, it sounds veiled and it sounds like the bass is floppy and soft. So I put it in the jack on the right side with the headphone symbol, and lo and behold it sounds so crystal clear and alive now. It's like I'd never heard the damn thing before I tried this, and I'm experiencing this portable audio player for the first time. Is the left channel just different somehow, is it supposed to emit such a crappy signal for headphones?

The X5 Gen II's line-output is designed for sending a signal to something like an external amplifier, not a headphone.
