sadly still haven't had the time to look at your firmware, but were the images 1 on 1 with the X5 screen resolution?

My Icons were but I have changed them now, it seemed to help.
Odd little problem, but I should have a Matrix Beta up in the next few days.

Very cool! This is a great theme. I love the System Failure 'album art missing' screen.
 
Bug report as requested: I am getting a white background on the outside edges of the menu screen. I can see still see the cascading digits but only the icon text is against black in an inner box.
 
(It is okay on start. This is after I return from the Now Playing screen.)
 
EDIT: Turned on my X5 a couple of hours later. The problem is gone.

Wow! Just downloaded it and it works well for me. No white edges or anything so far.
 
For me I would prefer it not to say "System Failure"

 as the missing album art image. Makes me think it's gonna crash LOL!

The one thing I would suggest is to change the brightness of the missing album art image, or the line where the song info appears when the track starts playing. Its hard to read over the busy and bright background. Otherwise........ just awesome....... Whoa......

Ah, I had the problem a couple of hours ago even after a restart. Now I just turned on my X5 again and the problem is gone.
 
So never mind.

I love the Matrix theme, but felt like I wanted an alternate "now playing" image so that the system failure image was only used for shutdown. I found these. Anyone is welcome to use these if they like - they're formatted ready to go - you just need to rename them and replace the existing default_bg.png file:

OMG, :eek: YES!!!!! That would be awesome......... flowerlandfilms this image would look great for the missing album art.
