Fiio x1 won't turn on
Oct 30, 2016 at 11:13 PM Post #31 of 38
I haven' had any problems with my Fiio X1, however my Fiio M3 had compatability issue when I used a 32GB Transcend class 10 card in it. It would make occasional skipping/ buzzing noises. After I switched to a Sandisk class 10 card it works fine. I only use mp3 files. Any compatability issues with the card you are using are likely to be magnified when using lossless files. I suggest that those who have issues try using a fast Sandisk card in the player and see if that solves the problem.

Hi, JK1
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we also recommend our users to choose TF cards produced by popular company like Sandisk for better compatibility.

According to the manual, there is a small reset hole on the side between the power button and the + volume button. After you have charged long enough to make sure there is at least some power in the battery, try sticking a pin in that hole and holding until you get some action on the LCD.

this happened to me today and your suggestion worked! thank you

My Fiio will not turn on
I tried everything on the forum to get it to work, nothing. I am sending it back. I have another X1 that still works, can I count on this one lasting or do they all have problems. Do any last over a year before dying?

I just got an X3 that has this problem. I had to use the reset to get it to power on after charging. You'd think they'd fix the problem, seeing they have been aware of it for some time.

It will fix it temporary but will happen again sometime

I have the same problem. Tried sticking in the tiny hole, nothing happened.
IDK somehow when I remove the TF card, everything went back to normal
