Hi @FiiO.
Just got my X1ii today.
got it to give it as a gift to a good friend of mine(I already have an X2ii and i love it :)
I must say, the device looks and feels great in the hand!
I updated it to the latest firmaware(1.5.3) and put a new 128GB sandisk micro sd.
The x1ii media library update was very slow,it got stuck for a while on 1015, I left it for like an hour and a half,
and when i came back it was stuck on 1280(out of about 2000).
same thing with my samsung evo+ 128gb card.
like other people commented before, the problems i encountered were:the ui is still laggy, a small delay while switching songs.
I must say that the device seems really great except for the unsolved bugs we mentioned, and like i see
here in the thread you guys are doing anything you can to ensure those bugs are fixed so that all of us users can enjoy your great device!
Waiting for your next update :)
If i'll run into more bugs while using the device in the next few days, i'll report them here.

Again, Thank you for your great work and products

Hi  FIIO and guys

A little bug :
When you want to play song by ARTIST, you choose your ALBUM and after your SONG ; on the screen when music play, you have only the name of the song and it's correct (if you choose in system setting file name display with TITLE)

With the same choice in system setting, when you want to play song by browse files, you choose your ARTIST, ALBUM and after your song ; on then screen when music play you have the number of the TRACK and the ARTIST and the name of the SONG ...

So it is not the title but the file name of the file (bug) and by artist it's only the title and it's correct.

In the system setting, File name display with TITLE in not efficient  when you browse files...

Can you fix it ?

Thanks for your support and the good job for FW 1.53

Dear The Frenchman,

If you mean the display under browse file is always showing file name, it is designed to act like that and won't be fixed.

In FW1.5.3, We
Added feature of displaying the title of the track under Category after updated media lib (while still display the file name under Browse files): http://fiio.net/en/story/519

Best regards

Hi @FiiO
I'm happy to do whatever i can to help :)

Btw, noticed a few more things/bugs(currently i'm using the latest firmware 1.5.3)

1.it takes quite some time for the player to resume from sleep mode, especially when on Bluetooth mode.
when I tried to resume from sleep in bluetooth mode, it took the player about 14 seconds to resume playing(mostly took time to enable bluetooth again and then go back to playing music).
Also wanted to note that i've tried the X1ii with my Jaybird X2's and they paired with the X1ii without any problem and that the in line controls worked great(not only bugs :) )

2.I left my X1ii running with music on and had to go for an hour or so, when i got back, i've noticed that the blue LED was still on(something that can drain the battery).
When i tried to wake to player, it wouldn't wake up and i had to restart the player in order to be able to use it again.
I don't think it matters, but that was with wired headphones and bluetooth disabled.

Hope this helps.

Have a great day,
Maor
