The all-new SP3compressses the cabinet to 2.35L, which takes less space and results in a simple and comfortable desktop. At the same time, it adopts a larger 3.5-inch carbon fiber midwoofer compared to the same class, together with a 1-inch silk tweeter. The tinier body helps to present higher-end sound performance, and reconstruct the sound-to-space ratio, achieving a grand soundstage.
1. 3.5-inch carbon fiber woofer

The SP3 employs a 3.5-inch carbon fiber midwoofer, larger than typical products in its class. These larger woofers have an inherent advantage over smaller woofers in dynamics, projecting a larger soundstage, and other sonic attributes. Whether watching movies or listening to music, this woofer is truly capable of expressing the grandness of the audio even at louder volumes.
Carbon fiber is extremely strong and highly rigid yet lightweight – the ideal properties for a speaker driver. The light weight of carbon fiber allows the woofer to have rapid transient response, while carbon fiber’s high strength and rigidity reduce non-linear distortion by minimizing unwanted secondary vibrations when the driver is moving when producing sound. Altogether, the carbon fiber material of the woofer helps to reproduce sound faithfully and lets you be more immersed in your high fidelity listening.
2. 1-inch silk tweeter
Taste every rhythm of the string
The SP3, unlike many other active desktop speakers employing a ¾-inch tweeter, instead utilizes a 1-inch tweeter that can produce frequencies as high as 35kHz. The tweeter’s KSV copper-clad aluminum voice coil that even at high volumes, ultra-high frequencies remain uncompressed – the result being better treble reproduction even in off-axis listening as well as highly resolving treble with natural timbre. With the SP3, you will be able to hear even the most subtle of vibrations generated by instruments.
3. Have high quality even in the tiny 2.35L body
FiiO listened carefully to users and communicated with them. In the actual experience and life, we found that they not only have high requirements for sound quality, but also want to reduce the size of the audio device in the limited desktop, thus releasing the desktop space and making a comfortable music place.
In this regard, when first started the SP3 project, our acoustic team compared all similar products on the market, and tried their best to compress all components of the SP3. With such demanding requirements, we eventually built the one with a tiny size of only 163x120x132mm, and an incredibly compact 2.35L cabinet.
This is a brave exploration of the product, as well as the responsibility to meet the needs of users, allowing them to acquire both excellent sound quality and a perfect product size at the same time.
