I bought an ex-display R7 at a discounted price with a full warranty. I love it!

Congratulations -have you worked out how to control it from your phone?
Thank you. I haven't tried anything fancy yet. Maybe later. I did a factory reset, installed Apple Music (had a problem with this, can't get it online 😅) and Spotify, connected to the Rotel via RCA, and that's it :L3000:

I just upgraded from R7 to R9 .. And from PL50 to iFi iPower Elite LPS PSU ... The only downside is that I find the R7 much sexier in black. That also applies to the PL50 .. Looks better than the iFi iPower Elite ... Oh well, at least the iFi PSU and the FiiO R9 sort of match in colors :xf_cool:

PS My PL50 LPS power supply is now up for grabs ... Review here: https://ichos-reviews.com/?s=PL50

How to set R7 to start some applications when booting? I'm thinking of the Fiio cast and the UAPP for example. Remote control keeps dropping out.I hope Android 12 fixes these errors.
Hi,
About the remote control, if you long press a button it should reconnect automatically.
About Android 12 I would not have to high hopes to see it released one day for our device :frowning2:
I think there is a way to launch apps a startup but not sure what Android version you need for that...
Regards

Look for Boot Apps by Argon Dev in the play store… It has a trial period .. and there are a few similar ones also

The new Nintendo Music app doesn't want to play a stream on the R7. Bummer!

@FiiO ,When connected via Fiio connect, the display is shifted one whole character. It's very annoying, you're constantly typing next to it when you're looking for music. Can't this be fixed as soon as possible?

If Wi-Fi and Ethernet are connected at the same time, it is not always necessary to connect them manually. Am I doing something wrong?

Dear friend,

Hi, you mean the FIIO Link or the FIIO Cast function?
If you are convenient, please contact support@fiio.com with the small video attached. Thank you.

Best regards

They updated the R9 thread a few days about the Android 12, and they are still working on it, but ran into unexpected issues.
So there is still hope.
