    Wasn't it announced as digitally controlled analogue volume control with PGA2311?

    I think it's fine as long as it's not too bright to be distracting and not consume too much power. It gives the dac more personality too compared to E7, E17, E18 which all have samey look, you can immediately tell this one is Q5. [​IMG]

    I wonder how will it sound. 
     
    I also wonder why the indicators are so big? I would had preffered small LEDs.

    Design looks good. An OLED display might be more intuitive instead of so many LEDs.
