FIIO FT7 applies FIIO’s all-new self-developed 106mm large planar driver, coupled with multiple innovative patented acoustic technologies to discover the ultra-low frequency response capabilities of planar headphones. Moreover, the FT7’s driver employs a patented multi-layer coating technology (Patent number: ZL2024205488218). The planar driver uses high-performance PET as the diaphragm substrate and selectively applies 24K gold and pure silver to create a multi-layer coated driver – leveraging the advantages of both of those precious metals. This allows the FT7 to have a highly detailed, yet charmingly rich sound.

Just curious, is there gonna be pro version in the future like FT1 model?!
This is an open-back planar already, no need for a pro version (even if all the bets are off when it comes to Fiio product naming system). Hopefully this will target the likes of LCD5 in terms of tuning and overall character.

No cost was spared in reducing the weight of the FT7 headphones as much as possible. Thus, many of the headphones are made of lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber so that the FT7 is comfortable to wear even for longer listening sessions. The FT7 may have a large 106mm planar driver, but it only weighs 427g, which is exceptional among high-end planar headphones.

Subscribed and hyped since they first were rumored / semi-announced.

@FiiO Will the FiiO-Shop Germany get them soon after launch or will it take some time?
HI, yes, it will take some time as the local distributor will order from us, then we need some time to ship FT7 to them.

Tôi đang phân vân giữa FT7 và Cosmo
Moondrop Cosmo is a very interesting headphone, so comparisons with the FT7 would be great to see!

A new cable was specifically crafted and fine-tuned for the FT7 and its sound characteristics. The copper undergoes cryogenic treatment with frozen nitrogen kept at -192°C. This enhances electrical conductivity, signal transmission, and sound clarity. It features a 4.4mm balanced cable design. A 4.4mm to 6.35mm adapter and a 4.4mm to XLR-4 balanced adapter are also included to make the FT7 compatible with popular audio systems.
