Fiio music widgets

When adding Fiio music app widgets to android home screen and connecting to m11 plus they give error "no music found, please scan for music". The app works fine and the lock screen / notifications control, it's just the widgets having a wobble. Any thoughts appreciated?

Have you tried reinstalling and granting all permissions?

Yeah tried reinstalling, all permissions and creating server/client link between phone and dap again, thanks though.

Be interested if any fiio m series owners have widgets working on phone for dap connected source, mine shows track and time progress but buttons not working.
