How do I get back to the main FiiO music (library) (albums, artists) page when playing a song. It's very awkward to have to keep hitting the back button, etc. Swiping from the bottom returns to home page but if a song is playing that pops up when you go to FiiO music.

thx

bob
Dear friend,

You may need to click the return button or sliding up from the lower left for about twice for returning.

Best regards

The M9 doesn't seem to drive my Sony WH Xm1000 very well. I have to put the volume up to almost 97 for any reasonable comfortable sound. Do you think I need an amp for this. If so, what would you recommend. The headphones are in bluetooth mode. Thank you
Dear friend,

You could try this to see if it helps:

1) go to M9 Settings -> General -> About device

2) tap on the 'Build number' for 7 times to enable the Developer options

3) return to Settings, enter Developer options and toggle on the ' Disable absolute volume' option

Best regards

So I was walking my dog yesterday and she lurched forward knocking my M9 out of my hand. Now I have a small area of dead pixels on the screen. Anyone know approximately what this would cost to fix? It’s probably not worth it but it triggers my ocd.
Dear friend,

You could try to remove the screen protector for check first.

Best regards

Battery life report

Starting at 100% Battery, Wifi Off, BT On in Sink mode (BT Receiver) and volume output at High Gain and 97. Only used FiiO Music.

Used for 2.5hours. Battery check at this point was 79%

then turned off BT and used High Gain volume 45 for another 2 hours. Only FiiO Music.

No other apps running, no Wifi. Screen mostly off.

At 67%

Not bad. Not bad. Especially for the part where it was BT on and volume was near maxed out.

After this instruction is done...is there a way to return the unit back to previous state whereby Developer options does not display in the Settings menu?

Picked up the M9 recently after quite a bit of research and some help lurking around these forums (thank you!) I love it so far, other than one thing, I can't seem to get it to play via USB in my car. I listen to music all the time in my car and that was one of the main reasons I chose this player. Is anyone using this in the car via USB? I'm wondering if there's something I'm not doing correctly. I've tried it in both of my cars (2012 Pilot and 2018 Suburban) and neither worked. In the Pilot, regardless of if I I have it in DoP or in D2P it charges while the car is trying to connect to it, but eventually I get an error that says Bad USB drive and it stops charging and doesn't play music. In the Suburban it was even weirder. I hooked it up and it started playing music, but it wasn't what the screen said was playing. I had selected a certain album to play, and the player said that's what was playing, but the songs playing just seemed to be random ones on the player. I rarely ever use it in the Suburban so I'm not as worried about that, but I use it daily in my Pilot and need to figure this out or I'll probably need to switch players. I'm not sure if it's relevant info or not, but I have a 100GB library all stored on the SD card (200GB). I used to use an ipod and had no problem playing that through the USB in either car. Any help or suggestions are much appreciated, thanks! @FiiO @JamesFiiO

Hello Fiio, your M9 interface needs a back button. When in Tidal how do i go back? Add a floating moveable back button like the Astell SR15? Also where is the "format sd card" option in android settings? Thanks.
