Only thing I'm not sure on is a)the wheel for volume (seriously what's wrong with buttons?) and b) the location of said wheel next to the power button. That said if it is full android (still to be confirmed, but guessing not) could be over this. Hell even if it isn't full android but does have podcast/audiobook support would be interested in it.

I really like the M series. I just got the m7 that I'm very happy with and it looks like the m9 looks great on the surface but sound is going to be the only thing that really matters and I used to have the old x5 but I feel like the x line has become too bloated with features which loses the essence of what the x line was all about which was pure sound, even if it's ugly. The m line I feel like goes back to what the x line was ultimately supposed to be which is no frills and just very musical as opposed to needing to be a reference source. I hop my 1qe the m9 sounds musical and fiio continues this trend of good no frills tonality and warmth, and minimalist. The x7 is too complicated

i'm listening to my m7 right now with v-moda lp2 and sounds amazing. I want the m9 to make my mp3's sound like a vinyl record from 1967. I hope this is where fiio continues to take their m line.
