I never said that I had a list of issues but I see that you have one in your latest post (or is that for the M9). Yeah random play, it works but poorly. I have owned my X5ii since it was released about 5 years ago and I have used it (almost exclusively in random play mode) pretty much every day since purchasing it. I can tell you that over those 5 years I have heard a multitude of songs repeatedly while not hearing a much larger magnitude of songs at all. In addition to repeating songs my unit has a consistent habit of focussing on a few artists and randomly playing their songs all the while slipping in a few totally random songs. In addition I have had periodic freeze up's (the last time was a couple of months ago). Re-booting won't fix it as it just freezes up upon start-up. I usually need to go through various gyrations but my latest method seems to work fairly well. First, remove the microSD cards. Second, re-boot and wait for a successful startup. Third, re-insert the cards and re-boot again. Fourth, update the library. Finally it works again. By the way, random play seems to work fairly well after one of the freeze-up's as I begin to hear many songs that have never played on my X5ii. However, sadly eventually it reverts back to it's "not so random", random play. The not so random, random play isn't a deal breaker but I'll tell you it's damn annoying. Equally annoying is reporting this issue with FiiO only to have them acknowledge that they were aware of the problem and stating that they are planning to fix it an up-coming firmware update. It never happened because FiiO decided to not fix the problem, instead they decided to abandon support for the X5ii altogether. So now years later we have the M9 with it's own glitches. FiiO philosophy apparently hasn't changed much.
