Is there no option in Tidal to download files for offline listening?

The issue still exists with downloaded files as well, masters and flac.

This suggests a problem with memory resources etc, should be fairly straight forward to remedy I would imagine.

Could you please share your experience when you try your hd600s with fiio m6. I wonder how m6, alone or along with your portable amp, handles/drives the senns. I have Senn hd 650 and a Topping nx5 portable amp paired with my iphone (streaming spotify) as source. I observe that hd650 is not being adequately driven which in my opinion is due to most probably iphone’s insufficient output level (which is nominally around half of the gain level as required by my portable amp).

M6 doesn’t have enough juice to power them properly, no dap I’ve had could really. That’s why I’m getting an amp.

Tried Tidal again with the M6 connected via LO to my Pioneer amp and stutter, stutter, stutter. Spotify on the other hand works great.
Will try to reset Tidal again and see how it works but definitely there's some issues with the app (I'm now on 320k aac).

Just received my M6 and tried to update the system to 1.0.1. Gives me this error-Message:

yes, I did, tried OTA and via file

EDIT: Boh, how annoying, the m6 cannot read the 256GB Sandisk Card in Recovery / Boot Mode, so I had to use my 128GB Samsung Card.... Had to apply the update (as mentioned in a M9-Thread) via Bootmode. :frowning2: Bummer

Thank God you could solve it ( you did right? ). Didn't expect to see the robot around so soon!

It appears that the tidal issue is also happening with the M9 for at least one user on that thread

Maybe a weak cpu?

That’s what I was saying earlier, maybe the processer and memory resources near a tweak in a firmware upgrade, the stuttering and cutting songs at the end of one and start of another suggests some kind of memory management issue.
Seen this before with daps from both Fiio and Cayin

weak CPU would affect DLNA playback too i guess but i am able to play 24/96 files stored on a media server without any issues. Perhaps its something else.

Good point, probably can be fixed by some software tweaking.
I think fiio is learning fast from hiby how to top customer service :D
