Well, been two weeks of using this little beast of a DAP. Nothing to complain really. It's playing everything fine. It even runs my 470ohm ATH-R70X cleanly. The sound is as clean as my Q1 MK II. Brings out the headphones I plug them into. I installed Spotify easily and I even use it to listen to my podcasts. What more could I want? Then again this is coming from a guy who only had Fiio's first DAP, the X3 1st generation, before this.
Was close to pulling the trigger on this one too- I like how it’s aluminum and glass like m6. But all that stuff to play around with and the balanced out in the ES100 was just too much temptation Anyways m6 is one little cracker of a dap- using it in the vehicle today and it worked and sounded great. Was using LO to aux in.
I agree totally with your summing up of M6 for the money it is bang on. And via Bluetooth its no slouch its giving the m5s a run for its money
@FiiO as suggested I did email support regards extra screen protectors but am yet to hear anything back
Thanks. I wonder though if someone wanted to stay with Fiio and not use the Mojo could the M6 output via usb to Q1mk2 or Q5? Note Q5 does not do Airplay. And M6 does not do balance.
sure, USB out mentioned even on FiiO's promo-photos (with Q5) as for balance, it's not a goal itself, it's just a way to get more power, and M6 is powerful enough for it's size even from single-ended output, so, not much need in balanced out
