Sorry i didnt mean to say it cant put out low/deep bass period.. But that it just isnt going to be satisfactory to anyone who loves sub bass. 2 other people agree with me. So there are 3 of us who feel like this DAP is unusual in that regard.

My feelings exactly, I want a neutral uncolored sound from my DAP's, I want to listen to music as it was recorded or as close as possible, no inflated bass for me. Knowing the M6 is nice and flat makes me even more keen to get one. Hoping they make it to North America soon.

If you really need more bass buy some Beats headphones and get nothing but bass.

@FiiO Is there any webpage where we can download the latest version of ALL whitelisted app for M6 (where the app version is regularly updated)?
I can only find this page from FiiO M6 FAQ (https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/139014.html) but it does not have link to TIDAL and I don't know whether they are linked to the latest version of each app too.
I only see the direct link to TIDAL from your reply to a post here requesting a link to the latest version of TIDAL which supports MQA.

I think it'll be easier for the users if we have similar page like https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/139014.html which also provides link to TIDAL as well as any new apps included in the whitelist (if any in the future) and these links are updated regularly to make sure that the users can download the latest version of each apps available for M6.

The Tidal has been preinstalled in the M6 so we did not provided in that link previously. And we designed to add the latest Tidal version in next firmware update. Thanks for the suggestion and I will add this APPs in the website soon.

So, the R3 is indeed in the skip (sold) and the m6 seems great so far. My only niggles are:

1) Quite slow at displaying the album covers on my SD card (1300 albums). Worth changing them all to 500x500?
2) I get a crackling sometimes when I load a track off my SD.
3) MQA tracks on Tidal aren't coming through to my Mojo as anything more that 16/44
4) Which SD file format does the m6 prefer? NTFS, FAT32 or ExFAT?

You could check whether the issue happens in certain music file or only in SD card.
Are you using the usb audio output? You may also check the sending it the Tidal APP.
The file system you mentioned could all be supported by the M6.

Can I get any spare screen protectors from anywhere? Put mine on and there was a stray hair I didn't see and have made things much worse trying to remove it

@FiiO are you planning in selling separately the plastic case that comes with the M6? I myself would buy a pair or three to replace the one I am using now in the future.

A much better sounding, faster & more stable player than the R3. Sounds great with the Mojo but not the same size like the R3 sadly.
