1. Added quick search function in track lists;
2. Added 'Recently Added' playlist;
3. Added support for external m3u playlists;
4. Added support for swiping on a long track name to view it in full length;
5. Fixed issue where some tracks might be played improperly;
6. Fixed issue where the date displayed in the lock screen was still in 24-hour format even after setting it to 12-hour format;
7. Improved the system stability;

The problem with Russian tags is not solved.
Could you ask the engineers why it was not fixed?

Specially to know how bluetooth receiver works. I try with my Phone but could not connect the two devices...

I manage to connect my phone to the M5 and update to fw 1.3 by the way

It’s not perfect, but FW 1.3 is a huge improvement. I love the M5, and I tolerated the pain of scrolling through all artists in a large library. But, the quick scroll addition has made this even more enjoyable. Please work on a play all by artist feature and also fix the issue with accented letters (in Spanish song titles for example).

After the update the experience is much more better.
The swipe to read was a very good idea.
Expect from some letters appearing weird at certain song titles I haven't found other glitches.

I found a little noise mostly on the right channel. They probably took down 1.3 because it had problems

I’m on 1.3 but haven’t experienced any noise (or maybe it just hasn’t caught my attention yet). Considering they pulled it, there definitely seems to be a problem with many players. I hope they get it sorted out quickly! The navigation improvements were huge!

Yeah that was huge. But they left out Play all songs in artists section.

I hear noise from both channels with very sensitive iems but nothing very annoying.
It is expected for the price range!

I just want to give you an update. I downgraded my m5 to 1.2.0 and the quantization noise is gone. If I now use it as a DAC low volume it is crystal clear, as well as low volumes (around 20) with very silent tracks

I was using it today for 3-4 hours with Fiio EX1 and never heard quantization noise.
That is with the new firmware,
