so the $100 question, silver or black? anyone been using it without the silicone cover? how has it held up?
I use my Silver M3K without the cover all the time and it's perfect, no sign of any problems. I like the player so much I'm getting another one, probably a black one this time.

Depends on the seller, if they are an authorised reseller of Fiio products you're covered by a 1yr warranty, if not it would be up to Fiio whether they want to help or not. I'd hope they would if its a genuine manufacturing issue regardless of where you bought it, don't know if there is an authorised seller in Kazakhstan, thankfully price is the same in UK via Amazon as from Aliexpress.
