It's kind of weird. It's the same card and data iv'e been using on my old Cowon D2+ and I haven't had any problem with it....

64 mb RAM is a bit too little these days but I see why. This drives the price down and the optimization is top notch - even if the player sometimes struggles with the UI, the music doesn't skip a beat.

When i'm using EQ the interface become laggy...

When I play HR files the EQ is automatically disabled and then there is no lag on the UI

Yes, the M3K doesn't have custom EQ currently. But we will consider adding it in later firmware update.

Could you please add it? I've been listening to really *flat music* for a long time now because all the equilizer presets in the m3k significantly makes the sound horrible. All anyone is asking for is all option to be able to tweak the equilizer manually and improve the timing of the presets; which I assume is a software fix.

Did you even read the last post? Firmware 1.3 already has custom eq. It makes the UI a bit laggy - around half a second maybe but the music sounds fantastic.

This just happend today, just after putting it to charge. The top info bar vanished completely. Got it fixed by a turning off the screen and on again after a few minutes. Just felt like its something worth noting. I'm on fw 1.3.0.

You could downgrade to previous firmware if you like. Same methods as updating.
If you meet any problem with M3K, please send email to support@fiio.com about that.

Songs Tagged ID3v1.1 and ID3v2.4

I'm sorry if any of you already brought up this issue. This is a an extremely long thread and I did try to do a search before I decided to post. I didn't see anything relating to this issue. I'm hoping that someone will read this and know what might be going on.

On the player I go Category - Artist - Album and Then I select the first song. I noticed that on one of my Albums, the Songs are not listed in order by Track. Just as an Example these songs appear to be Alphabetized instead of listed by Track Number.

This List Comes from My Computer:

01 - In Error.mp3, 02 - Earthbound.mp3, 03 - Insight.mp3, 04 - Father.mp3, 05 - Blink.mp3, 06 - The Sinking.mp3, 07 - Son.mp3, 08 - Regret.mp3, 09 - Eclipse.mp3, 10 - Absence.mp3

What happens is on the player it lists the song "Absence" first. The Song that should be listed first is "In Error".

Since I'm new here and the rules appear to be strict, I don't want to risk posting images yet. The Bit Rates are: 283CBR, and the Track Numbers is simply 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

What is really odd is that I have another Album by a different artist and the player does list the songs to that one in proper Track order.
