Anyone here who experienced problems with the battery quality?
I've seen a number of reports (at Amazon and Reddit) regarding the FiiO M11 Plus, where the battery has blown up and blow off the back of the player mostly after a bit more than one year of use, but sometimes also even after some months.

I have no issues with the battery so far, although most of time it's on the desktop mode and I've charged it very rarely. I've used it since the release.

How's everyone's M23 holding up so far? I'm still rocking my M11 plus Ltd - love it, but I did notice after the hot summer that I had just a barely noticeable (like, 1mm) amount of back plate swell - no discernable loss of battery quality in actual use, but I did get a different case that has a good heat sink (whereas the stock leather one did not).

Have you kept the player almost always on charging? For battery health battery should be drained/charged once a week or two.

I've used my M23 at least a few hundred hours since I bought it in June and I've had zero issues with the battery. No swelling or overheating at all. I watch closely for that after my Hiby R5 popped it's back glass off from battery swelling.

Not really, I don't typically charge it until it gets down below 40% or so - and since discovering the slight swell, I limit it's charge at 90% - there were definitely a few times that it would have been left on a fast charger longer than necessary - I try to be more conscious about that now.

Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this or having this issue, but if I use my M23 in desktop mode whilst using my U12T which has an all metal shell, I'm getting small electric shocks on my ears. Its like a weird prickly tingling feeling.

Sorry if this was mentioned before. Is there any difference between the blue and stainless steel?
Stainless version is stainless steel and comes with genuine leather case. Blue version is aluminium with a clear gel case. Other than that they are the same.

There is a huge weight difference.
Because the stainless steel version is CNC'd from a solid piece of stainless steel hence why it also costs more because stainless is difficult/slower to machine than aluminium.
