[FiiO M17] Dual ES9038PRO, dual THXAAA-788+, dual power supplies, 9200mAh battery, 2 volume control modes

Depend on our test, the output power of M17 will be bigger than the others, in fact, I can say it is the most powerful portable DAP in the world, and there are room for us to improve the output power up to 2000mW+2000mW @ 32ohm cause the THX788 is design for desktop headphone amp. but we need to consider the battery life and the temperature.
please do 2k + 2k lol that'd be insane.

Yes, it's definitely photoshopped well. I still remember that device and the FiiO music player logo (older versions).
Its not photoshopped. Its a real Fiio render joke when discussing the number of microSD slots in the Fiio X7 1st Gen thread.

Can we get away from the need for a sim tool to remove the memory card?

@JamesFiiO , would it be possible to implement a system level PEQ for this, that can be applied to all applications like Qobuz, Tidal etc? As you already have the All-to-DSD feature, I guess you should have the software infrastructure to implement it. There is no DAP out there that implements a system level EQ properly and it is what many keep asking for (including me). Thanks.

I am glad they went for 6" display :)
I think that the new iBasso dx300 with its 6.5" is way too big .. for my taste ^^

where did you get that they use a 6" screen ? I see no mention of this anywhere !

I bought a Sony NW-ZX507 because it has an eq, which I thought was system wide. Imagine my anger when I found out it doesn't work usb out.

Oh, OK. I didn't really consider the EQ for BT and USB, and I am not sure if EQ for BT and USB would be possible, as I would expect the SoC / processor to be out of the equation, and BT or USB audio data to have a direct path to the DACs, without going through the SoC where the EQ runs. James can say more about it.

What I meant for system level EQ is for the applications, like Qobuz and Tidal.

I gathered some more infos: 600 grammes and 28 mm Thick, so it is very close to the 220MAX in size.

The Sony NW ZX507 does have system wide eq as it does work with Tidal, that’s why I got it. I wanted it to go the extra mile and work with usb out as well.
I believe the AK daps work l Iike the Sony and have system wide eq.
