Depend on our test, the output power of M17 will be bigger than the others, in fact, I can say it is the most powerful portable DAP in the world, and there are room for us to improve the output power up to 2000mW+2000mW @ 32ohm cause the THX788 is design for desktop headphone amp. but we need to consider the battery life and the temperature.
@JamesFiiO , would it be possible to implement a system level PEQ for this, that can be applied to all applications like Qobuz, Tidal etc? As you already have the All-to-DSD feature, I guess you should have the software infrastructure to implement it. There is no DAP out there that implements a system level EQ properly and it is what many keep asking for (including me). Thanks.

Oh, OK. I didn't really consider the EQ for BT and USB, and I am not sure if EQ for BT and USB would be possible, as I would expect the SoC / processor to be out of the equation, and BT or USB audio data to have a direct path to the DACs, without going through the SoC where the EQ runs. James can say more about it.
What I meant for system level EQ is for the applications, like Qobuz and Tidal.

The Sony NW ZX507 does have system wide eq as it does work with Tidal, that’s why I got it. I wanted it to go the extra mile and work with usb out as well.
I believe the AK daps work l Iike the Sony and have system wide eq.
