What's the sound signature you prefer?

I want neutral warmish.. I am sensitive to treble as well

LCD-X will not sound warmish with M17, they have very good resolution and bass response, but also some sharpness in treble. For warmish signature with good detail retrieval and musicality I use HD650. M17 sound signature is not on the warmish side, it is more neutral with great detail retrieval, dynamic, spaciouness, but also has some peaks on highs and treble. So I would not recomend sharp signature headphones with M17. Sometimes you don't have to choose from 1000+ $ headphones, there are cheaper headphones on the market that would pair even better than those above 1000+ $. A lot depends on synergie.

I would pull the plug and go with LCD X and after upgrade them after with Black Dragon cable. Currently own LCD2 and M17 is decompressing music very nicely with them, dynamics, transient response are great, low end very impactful. Yesterday bought the cables and waiting on them to arrive, they should provide even more upgrade in sq.

I’m on latest fw and I’m actively using Tidal apk - I never had such problem.

I have noticed no matter of speed of the connection Tidal may occasionally stop and after 5sec or so continue, then I put aeroplane mode on/off or switch to next song, unfortunately. Tidal was updated, so I believe it might be the new firmware.

Yes I believe that is a tidal problem because everything else works(YouTube etc) what is strange is that in my phone works and in m17 don't

Now I made the update that the Tidal app was asking and now not even the log in works..... Great...

Kill all background apps and restart M17, should be ok. Still a "fresh" device, one more update is minimally required to make it fully stable/functional.
