Fiio music app on m17 has superior sonic qualities compared to even Neutron especially in Pure Music mode. This is my preferred method to listen to music.
Burn in update at almost 36 hours playing DSD512 in loop. I plan to let it burn in for 100 hours and see if that eliminates the ever so slight sibilance in some of my library.

Ever try USB Audio Player Pro? Even just as a payer, not to stream to as an external DAC. I paid money for both. But stopped using Neutron and use UAPP exclusively. I find the sonics in bit-perfect to be a 1:1 with FiiO Music. Slight step down when off when I need a parametric eq.. I paid for the Tone Booster plugin too, which is the best peq I've used.

I own both and UAPP as a player for local music would be my third choice. 1st is Fiio 2nd would be Neutron and 3rd being UAPP. To my ears UAPP sounds artificially boosted a db or two.
For streaming bit perfect I prefer UAPP as my first choice
used to do the same via integrated tidal. however, since the native tidal app is able to bypass android standard driver, i just use tidal itself and UAPP for qobuz.
