No, it's not as warm as DX220, it's warmerI like the M15, best sound I've heard from a DAP, to my ears not as warm as the DX220 but more detailed and textured than the DX220 and Sony WM1a. Just my own wee opinion.
For the price it's a stunning player but I'd also agree in dropping the fancy box and including a basic case.

One of the major reasons why I returned my M15 is actually not its design flaws but the fact that I realized that I won't be able to convince myself that player for 1.3K can be as good as a player for 3.5K. I returned M15 and ordered SP2000.I don't know how good the SP2000 is but having had the SP1000, I don't see the price difference justifiable (even the contrary, I like the M15 more than SP1000)

9. If you want a fully open, fully compatible Android DAP, HiBy and iBasso are currently your only two options (that I'm aware of).
Also the new Sony Walkman ZX500 comes with Google Play pre-installed. It uses the latest Android version.

I am sure you will enjoy it.
Yep, this is what I am doing now No curvy forms, solid copper, tight controls, slightly warm after 1 hours of listening of 24/96 music.I am sure you will enjoy it
No regrets yet. Sound is great. I am not saying that it is better than M15 - it is just great with Stellia. Comes with leather cover

Ahh, how I miss those curvy forms. When it comes to form factor and features, the M15 got so many things right. The M15 feels good in hand. I like the SP2K so much, but I don't know if it likes me, as it keeps trying to cut me or stab me.
I love the curvy form. Always loved SONY design. Those bricks from previous century that look like 1980 cellphones are completely obsolete to me. Faithfully this is changing.

I totally agree with you. Fiio cribbed Sony minimalist style both for the casing and the slick UI–love it!
