This is your opinion, mine is different, aside of sound, it was slow, had poor battery life and broke micro SD cards. It's all on its head-fi thread. But, whatever, it's history.
About m15, how is tidal used on it? Does it have direct support or it is installed using downloaded apk? Now I use uapp on my smartphone and a pioneer dap, but without play store, it wouldn't be possible to install it.
Opinion is one thing and fact is one thing. The fact is it was the first DAP to have full version of Android with Google Play, game changer.

Hey Guys, just checking there should be no difference between the 2.5mm out and the 4.4mm out right? I mean I terms of power? Have a 2.5mm cable for my HD800s’s.

Great, was worried balanced out was to powerful! Likely getting the M15 on Saturday, thanks for your reviews!

Indeed, balanced out is incredible powerful. Just make sure to use low gain and disengage the "over-ear mode" with your IEMs. Always check the volume position before plugging your headphones, I almost fried some IEMs :)

2.5mm and 4.4mm are identical in terms of power delivery. However, 4.4mm has a bigger surface/contact area and as a result will offer a slightly smaller resistance, I would use only the 4.4mm output with full size headphones.

The good thing about this DAP (and I think should be the same also for other FiiO DAPs using the same SoC), Qobuz runs very smoothly, downloads are fast, I was able to immediately connect to my 5GHz network, without having to change the frequency band. The whole experience is so far very positive.

There were some complaints about the amount of RAM - 3GB. I am downloading over Qobuz and also the FiiO player application is running and still it is using less than 1 GB of it.

What is "over-ear-mode"? I can't find such a setting.
