This is sort of a signature feature for fiio, it's been the same since one of, if not the first portable player they put out, the x3 1st Gen, 10 or 12 years ago. It was clicking and popping when it was started, shutdown, switched from payer mode to USB mode and back.

I've had pops and clicks from most daps, Fiio, ibasso, cowon, Sony and Cayin
I was led to believe its to do with amp section of the players

My update keeps failing to install, takes me to Android Recovery screen shortly into the install. Shows 'failed to verify whole-file signature' and 'signature verification failed'. Any idea how to resolve?

It sounds like the downloaded file is corrupt. Are you manually downloading and upgrading or the OTA download? I updated manually and didn't see the problem. Maybe you can redownload the file using the link Wian sent before and retry upgrading.

You are correct, my OTA download must have corrupted somehow, it worked doing a download from website then local update. Thanks!

That is nice. It is thick and transparent. I personally don't like leather and would rather go for something like this.
