EDIT: Messing around with it some more and I could be wrong. Played a track that should be 24/192 at full unfold, but the FiiO player screen showed it at 96KHz. So it's possible Roon's just doing the first unfold and that's what's being passed through and the M11 Pro isn't doing anything further.
I don't have a non-MQA capable DAC to test, but I could have sworn in the past if MQA wasn't supported Roon wouldn't preserve the MQA signaling.

Sure, this is not full unfold, just normal software. I think it is very unpleasant that a month after the dap release that major feature has still not implemented.
I'm trying to understand my options for connecting the M11p to my desktop amp, I would prefer not using RCA. The other two options I have is optical or coaxial can I use either of these?

The M11PRO doesn't have optical output but the coaxial output. If your DAC or AMP has optical or coaxial output, you could try the 3.5mm(TRRS) to 3.5mm coaxial cable for help.
