When I plug my M11 Pro into my laptop, all I see is drive H, that contains two folders, MAC and Windows. I can't see the external sd card? It worked last time I tried and the card is visible to the player. Any ideas? I've done a full reset on the M11 Pro.

Maybe you just need to set the player's USB mode to «Storage» instead of «USB DAC». On the other hand in this case I don't even see the M11 Pro as a drive on my Windows computer.

It may also help to reinsert the card – or to remove the player and reconnect it. Or to reboot your laptop.

Any comparisons to desktop setups? I'm finding the Fiio M11 Pro comfortably competing with Apogee Element 24 interface - both giving slightly different flavours, but with very good performance.. impressive that a DAP can compete (both with DAC/HP out) with a high performing desktop kit at a close price.
I wonder how the m11 Pro compares to the RME ADI-2 (both use AKM chips)

Which song in Tidal app is having the problem? And you could send the log to us for check:

The logs files can be grabed in the M11PRO. So when the certain problem happens on the M11 PRO, please go to " Settings ->About device" , and continually tap “Model number", until the prompt "Have save output log to built-in storage" appears. Then please wait for about 20 seconds, and go to M11 PRO's internal storage, then send the two log files ""M11 PRO-kernel-xx.log" and "M11 PRO-system-xx.log" to us for further analysis.

It's not a particular song with Tidal, it's when you are starting any song that is on a different album from the one to which you just listened.

*However, I used Tidal the other day with my iPhone and realized it does the same thing, so maybe that's a Tidal issue.*

BUT, my M11 Pro still skips the first second of songs when using Fiio Music and playing local FLAC files purchased from HD Tracks.

Do you subscribe to regular Amazon Music? Or Amazon music HD?

I wasn't aware I had to choose when I signed up. Now that I'm signed up, is there a way I can choose Ultra HD?

UPDATE: I just found PREFERENCES and was able to sign up for HD. Thanks for the heads up. Now I'll try downloading to my Fiio.

UPDATE2: What ?! I downloaded the songs to my PC and I get a bunch of 2-letter directories that are empty ?!?! I can't put those directories on my Fiio! How do I get these songs into a format that works on Fiio ?

UPDATE3: OK. I see there is one folder created with the album files. PHEW !

UPDATE4: I don't mean to be picky (OK, yes I do), but Amazon lists "HD" as 16/44.1 ??? That's CD quality, not Hi-Res quality!

Glad you have it all figured out. I’m on a three month trial myself. Also on a three month Deezer HD trial.

I get this error message.

I got the same message when installing that driver. Do a search on youtube for the steps to flip a switch in the registry to get past it.

But I still needed to install the driver from my M11 in safe mode. Only then did it work. And my M11 doesn't show up as a drive letter, which eliminates using any type of file sync software. Or I don't know what I'm doing. Probably.

You could try the following methods for installing the MTP driver in Win10:

Or run the driver from an administrator-enabled powershell window, right-clicking over the Windows symbol.

Then you will be able to install the driver and access to the player's internal memory and the card as well.

I`ve discovered very curious problem. I`ve listened an album with MQA 24bit, but last song in this album was without MQA and its resolution is 44.1/16bit. When starts playing this last track, sound has correct time, but song speeded up and deep voice of singer sounded like voice of small girl, or better, like a Chipmunk. Do you know about this bug? Is any recipe how to solve this?
