So I finally received it sooner as expected so I am pretty pleased, ironically I ordered a Denon D5200 before and it is still waiting for stock so I will use it for now with my Sony MDR1000X at work.
My first raction was : wow, this is really big. I mean, from pictures I thought it would have been a lot smaller like my former entry-level Walkman (I do not remember the number, maybe NW-A45 or 55 something like that). In fact it is bigger than my iPhone 11 Pro + Smart Battery Case, in fact thicker than that but the face is similar. It is also quite heavy so it is not that portable for all usages. It is fine by me since I will use it at work, but I was surprised.
Aside from that, ergonomics is fine, maybe a bit too sensitive for me (both tactile and sound level tactile surface to which I will have to be used to), but nothing really negative.
Build quality is good and all responds quickly. Display is also pretty good for a LCD panel.

I tried playing music with both AKG 712 Pro and Sennheiser HD560S on gain HIGH (default) and surprinsingly the output is not a lot louder than the iPhone 11 Pro + Lightning adapter, in fact I could go almost at max with AKG 712 Pro and it was not that loud (too much for a long use but bearable). It is still enough, but maybe it has to do with EU regulation ? I know that the Sony Walkman EU version maximum sound level was lower than other regions. Anyway, the sound is clean so it is fine.
I also tried line output to Cayin iHA-6 and it worked fine.

I have yet to explore all the options, it seems very well featured so it is so far really neat.

Got my K712's out to try it, stock cable single ended. Thought it was really good tbh. Nothing like with the Focal Utopia though.

Honestly I am not a K712 fan from the start and I prefer the 560S on tubes so that is why I am biased from the start, at least I did not found that they gained something special from the FiiO (iPhone is a pretty good DAP from the start so it is not that a shame to be challenged by it I suppose ) while strangely, as reported, the MDR1000X sounded a lot better than before (wired !), maybe it was just my mood..or even if I am a sceptic at core, maybe DAC pairing is not completely a myth afterall.

Iam trying to connect the M11 plus to my oneplus 8 pro in Bluetooth dac mode but the connections is lost in next 1 second, without displaying any error messager.

Anyone had this issue.

I have exactly same issue with V50 and M11+
BT connection with BTR5 in sending mode works fine. Only BT receiving mode doesn't work.

Neutron player doesn't work at all. Sometimes after starting it stays on but it cannot play anything, and sometimes it crashes after 1 second. I tried different versions of neutron and tried hard reset, reinstalled everything and the problem persists.

However it is only showing 48 kHz on the Sony DMP-Z1 it doesn't do 88.2, 96 or 192 kHz to the Sony. I installed USB Audio Player Pro on the Fiio and this work fine it will output Hi Res not an issue. No problem on the PC either with Tidal app or Roon everything works fine with the Sony.

Is there some limitation on the Fiio M11+ using the Tidal app and streaming to an external DAC does it only output 48 kHz?

My other DAC does not do this and playing bit rate correctly, can anyone let me know what's going on, do I need the USB driver for the PC?

Do you have another mobile phone for check? Can the pairing code show up when connecting the M11 Plus and your mobile phone?
As for the problem with Neutron app, we will try to fix it in new firmware. It was some compatibility problem with the API of Neutron app.

Then switch the output mode to ASIO in the software and check again?

Hello tried everything but it won't output to the Sony DMP-Z1 anything but 48 kHz. It wont do 44.1, 88.2, 96 or 192 kHz either from Fiio Music playing internal files or streaming from Tidal or Amazon HD etc.

It only plays correct bit rate if I use the USP Audio Player Pro app when connected to the DMP-Z1 otherwise stuck in 48 kHz no matter what I do. I will send an email to @FiiO support separately

Listening to the M11 Plus with Dunu SA6, highly recommended. It is hard to imagine how it could get much better than this.

Yes, i'm at the office listening to The Weather Station's "Ignorance" with the M11 Plus and Moondrop S8 and it's a great listening experience. Very neutral, with excellent soundstage and detail. Can be less enjoyable with badly mastered tracks and/or questionably tuned IEM and headphones as it doesn't mask their flaws but when you find a combination without these kinds of problems, it's a sublime experience.
