I think that the FiiO M11 Plus cannot override the sound quality limitations of Android (24 bit / 48 KHz) with the exception of their own FiiO app and although TIDAL or Qobuz apps show more quality (24 bit / 192 KHz) in their files, Android upsamples the frequency and does not take into consideration the maximum SQ of its internal DAC chips. This also happens with my LG V50 mobile (it has a Sabre ESS Quad-DAC with 32 bit / 192 KHz maximum sound quality, native MQA and DSD support). The only way to override Android limitation is to use special apps like UAPP or Neutron Player that have their own sound driver and override Android limitations. This is the reason why I discarded the FiiO M11 Plus to upgrade from my LG V50 phone. I think the only player that can override Android limitations with any Android app is the HiBy R5 or R6 that have a special architecture to override the Android limitations with its own chip. Can anyone tell me the highest sample rate they get with Amazon Music HD, I only get 24/48 is that normal when the sample rate go as high as 24/192 on Amazon Music HD

Perhaps it is a problem of Amazon HD that incorrectly detects SQ hardware performance. It happens also with my LG V50 mobile with internal quadDAC, but not with iBasso players. Does the FiiO M11 Plus bypass Android sound limitations with Tidal / Qobuz apps?Ain't bypassing nothing here (Amazon Music HD) whatsup FiiO, Ibasso DX300 DX160 works, Apple file 24/48 look in the top right corner sample rate 96k

Sounds like you don't understand what android src is.I think that the FiiO M11 Plus cannot override the sound quality limitations of Android (24 bit / 48 KHz) with the exception of their own FiiO app and although TIDAL or Qobuz apps show more quality (24 bit / 192 KHz) in their files, Android upsamples the frequency and does not take into consideration the maximum SQ of its internal DAC chips. They blamed Amazon and Samsung last time (M11),now this (M11 ltd) has a QUALCOMM soc,the DX160 has an old rockchip soc (rk30board) it works, the DX300 has the same chip as this (M11 ltd) it works,so that leads me to think if Ibasso software person can figure it out why not FiiO's.Apple music you can download ,install, open on the M11( exynos 7872) you just can't sign in,but on my Samsung Tablet 10 2019 (exynos 7902) Apple works like a charm.Perhaps it is a problem of Amazon HD that incorrectly detects SQ hardware performance. It happens also with my LG V50 mobile with internal quadDAC, but not with iBasso players. Does the FiiO M11 Plus bypass Android sound limitations with Tidal / Qobuz apps?

I'm pretty sure all the recent Fiio, Hiby and Shanling players bypass forced Android SRC if (and only if) the app sends the unaltered music stream to the Android system in the normal way. The problem is that some apps either resample internally or stream lower quality (based on what the app thinks is the device capability) before sending the data to the system audio.

Do anybody know if Apple Music is done right?I'm pretty sure all the recent Fiio, Hiby and Shanling players bypass forced Android SRC if (and only if) the app sends the unaltered music stream to the Android system in the normal way. Deezer, Apple Music, and Oto Music absolutely bypass the SRC for me no problem.

Qobuz works fine too, and has a lot of really high res music. 192/24Deezer, Apple Music, and Oto Music absolutely bypass the SRC for me no problem.

But TIDAL uses MQA for Master quality. I suppose that the FiiO can bypass Android SOC for TIDAL but I'm not sure about Qobuz or Amazon HD...My LG V50 has 192/24 in Qobuz app, but I think it upsamples it. If I use Qobuz or Tidal under UAPP they sound significantly better (using the internal DAC)... The only drawback is that UAPP does not play the offline songs of Tidal or Qobuz

Qobuz and Tidal too as well as UAPP. I have done Apple Music, Qobuz, Tidal and all work as they should.Deezer, Apple Music, and Oto Music absolutely bypass the SRC for me no problem.
