I haven't been following this forum or updates about the M11. However, after one of the recent updates, suddenly my album art doesn't show up and the player crashes constantly when I'm playing playlists.

Did something happen? Is this a known issue?
I don't think it is. Try clearing the player's data and if that doesn't work, try a factory reset.

Need help with the bluetooth.
Tried to connect new bluetooth earphones, but the M11 doesn't let me do it because it infinitely keeps trying to connect to the previous ones used. That earphones are off, not active, but the M11 is still kind of searching for them, although there are plenty of other BT devices listed. Tried few times restarting the player, restarting the BT setting, nothing. The M11 always get stucked on that single connection forever.
If I tap on any bt device listed, I can choose "forget" or "unpair", but not on the active one. Tapping on the device name in the list which is in the process of "connecting", doesn't open that menu.
Any help much appreciated.

So, the latest Tidal update seems to trigger MQA a lot more than before. I'm up to around 50% success rate - this is me playing music with hifi level quality, so bypassing Tidal and internally the M11 doing its thing.

Only one weird situation/song - playing a Masters track while in hifi quality, Tidal switched to playing the quality to Masters. No idea how/why.

Hopefully we'll get more consistent MQA triggering, as it certainly sounds better!

Well, that whole MQA worked for like 2 listening sessions and now nothing. The tracks which triggered before, absolutely no success now. Sigh, on the verge of just accepting we won't have MQA working on Fiio's latest gen devices.

I was impatient to wait few minutes. At lest never had this issue on the smartphone.
What I found out for sure is that it keeps trying to connect after waking up from the deep sleep standby and also after the reboot. Good news is that I managed to stop this infinite connecting after completely shutting down, charging the unit full and then turning it on after few hours.

OK, "connecting" started from itself again. Now I wanted to see how long does it take. It is already over 25 minutes spinning and trying to connect.

Were you actually getting 44.1kHz and non-44.1kHz files to finally trigger the MQA indicator? And now, nothing at all? Playing back with Hifi selected rather than Master (to avoid software decoding)?

Everything seems to be the same for me - still only 44.1kHz tracks as well as occasional multiples (nothing 48kHz-based).

Jup was getting 44.1 and non 44.1 to trigger. But given up and just using through UAPP now. To my ears Tidal in general (non MQA) sounds much better through UAPP. So just going to stick with that.

One for people here, with UAPP - do we need to enable bit perfect for MQA? I notice I still get the mqa logo in the status bar with bit perfect off (despite UAPP before the track playing saying that bit perfect needs to be enabled). My own theory is UAPP detects the M11 can do all the unfold itself and so doesn't matter.

Has anybody had any issues with dead pixels on their device? I’ve got five or so develop having bought it a few months ago which is a shame - is this a common thing, and does anyone know if it falls under warranty?

3. Added a new option, "Unlimited", to the "File size limit for album art" setting;
4. Improved the speed of scanning songs;
5. Improved the USB Audio compatibility and also added support for FiiO Q3;
6. Miscellaneous improvements.

2. Or Set the device to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the device. Then disconnect the connection and enter ES file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal_sd and click install.

If you have any problem in the latest version, you could uninstall the app and use the previous version. Or send email to support@fiio.com, we will reply when we are back to work in October 6th.

I could download the new version of the app from the Google Play store, but the installation failed. "Can't install FiiO Music".
