My M11's touchscreen has become unresponsive. I've tried a hard reset and rolling back firmware but neither worked. I've had it since last July. Any one have any suggestions on what I could try next?
Run down the battery to flat, do a full charge and then reset? Failing that get in touch with your dealer?

Thanks already tried that. Bought it from Fiio's Amazon store. I've tried getting to Fiio customer service, but it seems to be none existent. They replied only once to my many messages. Told me I could send it to China if I want but never gave me any information on where.

If it was a fulfilled by amazon order you could try a direct return with amazon?

Hi,

Could you please PM me your email address and receipt? And please try to wipe the data for checking again:
Enter recovery mode by holding the power button and the next track button at the same time in power off mode first.
Then choose wipe cache partition to clear the password. (Press the power button for ensure.)

Regarding the recent Album_Artist support, i just noticed that the option you choose in settings (Artist or Album_Artist display) unfortunately also affects the search.

That kinda makes sense as it's like a filter applied, so as soon as you have chosen one display mode, the other mode is like not here anymore.

But then, if you' re in Album_Artist display mode and want to search for an artist that would only be in the Artist tag, then you have to switch back to Artist display mode in order to find it :frowning2:

That is really not practical IMHO.

I understand this probably might be a more important UI re-design but it would have defnitely be better if the Album_Artist would not have been a setting option but just a new tab addition in the top bar. There is indeed enough room for adding a new icon in the top bar, i'm just adding a screen i made showing how this could look like :

Basically it's like providing Album_Artist 'AND' Artist instead of 'OR'.
In France, we prefer Caviar and Champagne instead of Caviar or Champagne :wink:

I would see at least 2 benefits for dealing with Album_Artists this way :

1° Switching between Artist and Album_Artist would be way faster (no need to go through settings)
2° Search should be working at the same time for Artist and Album_Artist (again, without requiring to change settings)

Not sure what others members in here might think about this ?

I hope @FiiO can take this suggestion into consideration for a future update.

Maybe if several members want this too, they will seriously consider updating this... ?

My M11 starts to stop playing at random times. Seems it crashes apps instead of just pausing my music. I’m using the latest firmware and listening Spotify and stock FiiO music app.

I got my M11 last week and I love it but from what I'm reading, upgrading the software it's not a good idea.

Dear @FiiO I am attaching the picture of original Fiio leather case for M11 I bought today. As you can see on the top edge, there is a gap (leather is skewed) so it's not flat and the power button is difficult to reach. Can you please comment on that? Is it a design or a reason for the claim to the Fiio dealer? Thanks.
