I'm trying to collect a compatibility list of 3rd party music apps over in this thread (so the information doesn't get lost in this 500 page mega thread). Your comment would help build knowledge that benefits the community and future owners.

Am using Cloudplayer by Doubletwist which I use on all my Android devices to stream from my dropbox account; it indexes my collection in its entirety on the M11 and is responsive and entirely usable.

After further experimenting in the settings of my M11 I finally found the culprit of blocking the deep sleep mode.
It looks like it was the option double tap to wake on the display.
After deactivating it, the stand by consumption of my M11 is just 1-2% a day. The battery curve is now almost flat.

Since saturday I have an M11, so far I'm really happy with the device.
Sound is great and it is really responsive, compared to the X5III it replaced.

One thing I observed: In the Fiio App, German Umlauts are not a problem, however, there is an issue with Umlauts in Cue Sheets.
The content of a specific Cue Sheet begins like the following:

Hi All,
Just acquired m11 and filled one card with flacs and other with video files. It plays the videos just fine but does anyone know how to view it in landscape mode. Screen won't rotate.

It is in the settings/ general part, in the bottom part there should be. Removed the marking to deactivate this option. Seems really help to improve battery or properly work deep sleep in m11

I'm not sure about this but in changelog from build 829 (may 27.) it says that the M11 has gotten hi-res support.

You can check the audio path in Poweramp Settings - Audio -Audio Info. If you want to use the M11 full Dac features you have to go to settings - audio - Output - hi-Res Output and activate it there. I hope this helps.
I get 24bit 384 KHZ so it should be using the full resolution the DAC can provide

Dear @FiiO, can you please fix your music APP to allow playing all tracks in a directory that contains directories as children. E.g. if I have

mp3/
mp3/BillyJoel
mp3/BillyJoel/musicfile1
mp3/BillyJoel/musicfile2
mp3/SteelyDan
mp3/SteelyDan/musicfile3

I want to be able to click on 'mp3' and play files from all directories underneath it.

Clicking on the arrow to the right of the directory does not seem to do anything.
Clicking into the mp3 directory, then 'select all', then the play button on the bottom left also doesn't do anything.

Only if the directory has direct playable files underneath it does it work.

I’m not getting the alphabet scroll in the FiiO music app in album view. It does show up in other views. I’m using version 1.1.6 of the app and am up to date in firmware. Any suggestions?

Unbearable hissing on Campfire Atlas with rated sensitivity as 105db. Yet to check how Sony IER-Z1R performs with this DAP.
Strange thing is that only Right side produces the hiss!!!

hi.

is there any difference between the 4.4mm and 2.5mm connections in terms of SQ of the M11? Am thinking of getting the BTR5 to upgrade my BTR3 and that's got a 2.5mm socket, my X7ii has 2.5mm too, so getting the Fiio LC 2.5mm upgrade cable seems to be a +ve upgrade for my FH7s, but wondering if I'm losing out over the 4.4mm?
