Just gotten my M11 and noticed a few things.

1. With the leather case, my 2.5mm balanced port gets blocked a little. I need to slide out the player a little for the 2.5mm jack to sit in fully. Also thinking if i shld just reterminate my 2.5mm to 4.4mm.

2. Any way to change position of back and last view button on player? Prefer back to be on right rather than left.

No problems with my leather case. 4.4mm, 2.5mm and 3.5mm is fully seated without issues.

That would be same as my phone, and I tried it. Didn't get any notifications though. Will check/try again though.

Yes, M11PRO will have 2 AK4497 and THX AAA technical .

Wha?! If this is the spec for the M11 Pro, what will the rumored M13 have in it? (Rhetorical question...) At this point I’m gonna have to wait to see what’s in all these DAPs. It’s overwhelming. Lol!

Just a little recommendation out of personal experience. Dont wait. Just read up on what features you like and go for it.
Electronics are developed fast so there will always be something new and better the next week.

Just got M11 and purchased 500 dollars in Hi . res and Flac Albums and cannot play in Player...They also don't show in Library, and wont play from file search, What can be the Problem?....

Yeah, normally I’d agree with you. But I’m pretty good right now with my current DAP situation. I can wait until something comes along that is potentially a bigger leap.

I totally didnt read your signature. Im new in the game. M11 is my first DAP since back in 2004 when they were still called mp3-players and i was rocking a Jens of Sweden MP-110.

It seems a bit inconsistent, but you get used to it. I used screenshots for my review and after taking 20 or so I got a little better at it. It is really useful for showing off features, apps or albums.

Right on! Welcome back to the community. A lot has changed since 2004.

Anyway, I’m still getting a ton of listening enjoyment out of the Shanling M5s. But I’m fascinated by Android DAPs, which is why I’m keeping tabs on this thread. Given that the M11 and M5s share the same DAC chip, I'm surprised there haven’t been more direct head-to-head sound quality comparisons.
