How do you feel about m11 low end is it good controlled, reaching good lows, don't feel that it's lacking there.? As from fiio i know they intentionally reduced low end ammout and don't know how it came to the final sound as i haven't heard m11. Still afraid that fiio castrated bass as they make it more "audiophile" type that means more middle and treble pronounced. This dac and amp is capable of powerful lows and why is it done by fiio i don't know. As i think many there loves lows and good bass.

It's definitely not as bass heavy as it could be, but it certainly delivers when it's there. I've read in the past on this thread that it is neutral but accurate, so if there is bass in the track there will be bass being pushed through. But remember that whatever headphones you use will have a large impact as well. I'm using the Tin Audio T2, which don't have much for bass, but the combination of the two please me enough with bass. I don't have much to compare this player to but, to me, it's smooth sounding.
