My M11 and FH7’s are in. This is my first real DAP and my experience with Android is limited at best. Will there be a big learning curve to navigate around the unit and what should I set up first as for the unit’s configuration? I’ll be running 4.4 balance with the upgrade cable I bought. To say the least I’m stoked!
Look for me to back with many questions because you guys and gals have the knowledge I seek!
Peace!
Good stuff. FH7 + M11 is superb combo. It sounds great! There's not really anything to do per-se to set up, copy some music onto a card, whack it in, startup the M11, startup the Fiio app, select settings from the landing page (the cog icon) select scan and wait for it to complete then you're good to go.
If you have any problems just post here and you'll get a quick reply.
PS... I would make sure in the main settings for Android that the bottom bar icons are permanently displayed to help you navigate easily at least to begin with. Otherwise it's a bit less intuitive to navigate without the buttons.
To get to these settings, pull down (twice perhaps needed) from the top of screen to and click the cog icon at the top, then choose General then Navigation Control then Bottom navigation bar. It may already be activated of course
Enjoy!!
My biggest complaint about the FiiO app to date is that I don't *think* it does incremental detection of deletions from my SD card, but I could be wrong about that. Enjoy your M11.
Fiio app isn't too bad, haha. Loads of other apps are even less intuitive, lol (Neutron for example ).
I agree that an auto update at least on startup would be good with the Fiio app.
