Hi, I'm testing my wife's FiiO M11 and I remarked that it does not play all songs properly.
I actually remarked them on 2 albums, Miles Davis, Kind of Blue, 96 flac-album when it plays I do not hear any sound.

Bruce Levingston, Glass: Dreaming Awake, 192 flac, plays but the sound is not as usual, is like I would hear them underwater.

Any info, help?

Thanks Tony

Unfortunatly my Dac (Topping D50) and Dap (Hiby R6) have both died recently and I am looking at the M11 as an all in 1 replacment.

My worry is that I'd kill the battery in the M11.

Would it be a suitable or should I buy a stand alone Dac?

How much battery is used up when the screen is on and being used? The fact that the M11 runs android is interesting because it can also act as a multimedia device (sort of like an iPod Touch when you think about it, but to less of an extent) where you could watch Youtube videos or play some games on it, but how much would that affect the battery?

Busy testing the new Poweramp high-res engine for the M11. I'm not sure what it's doing or how, but I've heard this album many hundreds of times and it sounds about as good as I can remember it, if not better. It also seems to have 'smoothed' some of the edges off the FH5's midrange peak without affecting impact or resolution. So far so good, I'd say.

PS. Anyone know what they little circle-in-a-circle icon is next to the battery level? Been meaning to ask, and can't seem to Google it.
Is there a setting or something to turn it on?

Hello All, requesting help from Fiio M11 owners. My purchase decision is dependent on the below:
  • Play dsd iso over LAN (dlna anyways does not support dsd iso)
  1. Could you please install Hiby music app and give a try to dsd iso playback over LAN (not through DLNA, as DLNA does not support dsd iso).
  2. Does the playback stutter?
  3. Do we get gapless playback?
The native Fiio music player will not have Lan connectivity in its options, Fiio team has confirmed this.
Streaming dsd iso/ dsdiff edit master over lan is my priority. Thank you in advance!

Poweramp v.3 build 829 now has support for HiRes playback on the M11. I updated last evening and listened to tracks side by side with the FiiO music app, and I can no longer discern a difference. That is not to say there isn't a difference, but I can't hear one.

Being a Poweramp newbie it wasn't immediately clear to me how to update my purchased version, but it turned out to be simple. I downloaded the file directly from the Powerampapp forum to the M11, and when I installed it gave me the option of updating the existing version. No loss of settings or license.

For now, Powerampp will be my default music player because of it's tweak-able interface, the ability to list by album artist, and the ease of adding tracks to the play queue on the fly.

My FH7s are being delivered today, and I can't wait to test out the combination!
