Hi, i just bought a new Fiio LC-RE full seal, it was great at first but after 2 weeks of use it started to get stiff. I started to notice the small green tint (oxidation) ONLY on the gold plated strand. The silver and copper strands are normal. This is not normal in my opinion as this should not be happening this soon as well as only to the gold plated part.

Thanks for the confirmation. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the cable. I anticipate the oxidization but not on the gold plated first though. I do know that it wont affect the sound quality.
About the stiffness, the cable is amazingly soft and flexible out of the box, that's why I noticed the change of stiffness. The section got stiff is the upper part, I'm suspecting due to sweat and sun light ? The stiffness also happening with the part got oxidization. Defiantly not a coincidence, I'm guessing might to to the heat that make the oxidization process faster. Can anyone confirm this ? sounds a lot light basic chemistry through hindsight. This can be a good learning experience in cable maintenance to me.
