Updated at 2020-05-27
The following changes and improvements have been made to the FW1.2:

1. Added a new function of renaming the Bluetooth device. (FiiO Control App->Setting menu->Custom device name)
2. Changed the time to press the Power button for 2 seconds to turn off the device.
3. Fixed the issue where the device would fail to enter playing state when connected to computers/adapters through HFP, and thus led to unsuccessful audio output after entering standby mode.
4. Fixed the issue where voices could not be heard under phone calls when there was another call.
5. Fixed the issue where the EQ was invalid after certain operations under the USB DAC mode.
6. Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements.

Please visit the LC-BT2 Firmware download page and download the FW1.2

Hi there,
just did the update without any issues.
However, when I look at the version number in FiiO Control App it shows 1.722 and not 1.2, in settings I cannot set a custom device name.
Did I get the wrong Firmware on fiio.com? Before the update it was 1.0
Thanks for your help.

I guess it is some Android apk typo. Mine iPhone app says 1.2 after upgrade.

The downloaded ZIP file is named LC-BT2-FW1.2, so this might be the right Firmware.
But the new function "Custom Device Name" cannot be used.
Let's see, if other Android users do have the same issue.

I have installed android app to my DX220. It shows 1.2 version as well. Device can be renamed.

Hi,

We did not provide the 1.7 version firmware for LC-BT2. Please check whether you have downloaded the correct firmware file: Click here

And are you using the FiiO control app in latest version: Click to download

Best regards

Thanks, I reflashed the Firmware -> Still Version 1.722 shown in FiiO Control App (on FiiO M11).
Then I deinstalled FiiO Control App (Ver. 1.3 from Google Play Store) and installed the apk downloaded using your link.
Now it shows 1.2 correctly and I can set custom device name. Thanks for your help!
