There is a new firmware available http://fiio-firmware.fiio.net/LC-BT2/LC-BT2-FW1.1.zip but it still has the voice call issue. Connected to two devices, one device in a phone call then the second device plays a sound then LC-BT2 goes silent.
Hi,

We have recorded this issue and will try to fix in next firmware update. Please accept our sincere apology for all the inconvenience bringing to you.

Best regards

Hi rep,

Between LC-BT2 and UTWS1 do either or both of them support multipoint pairing? (ie. connected to two devices at the same time - eg. listening to music on DAP, but connected to phone, and switch automatically when a phone call comes in)

I couldn't find any mention of multipoint for either product, but it looks like from comments in this thread that LC-BT2 does support it? How about UTWS1?

Cheers!

Hi,

The UTWS1 does not support connect to two devices at the same time. But you could connect one of the unit to the first device, and the other to the second device if you need.

LC-BT2 does support multipoint? (Connect to 2 devices at the same time, and allow phone call to overtake audio from the other)

Like BTR5 - allows me to listen to one device, but it automatically swaps to phone when a phone call comes in. I would like the same, but in a TWS or quasi-TWS form factor. :)

Hi,

Sorry the seller in India did not book this product from us maybe because of the hard time in covid-19. And our Aliexpress store could not send to India because of the strict custom there currently.

Best regards

FiiO releases the new firmware for LC-BT2! A new function of renaming the Bluetooth device has been added!
WechatIMG847

The following changes and improvements have been made to the FW1.2:

1. Added a new function of renaming the Bluetooth device. (FiiO Control App->Setting menu->Custom device name. The same function will be available later in FiiO Music App. )
2. Changed the time to press the Power button for 2 seconds to turn off the device.
3. Fixed the issue where the device would fail to enter playing state when connected to computers/adapters through HFP, and thus led to unsuccessful audio output after entering standby mode.
4. Fixed the issue where voices could not be heard under phone calls when there was another call.
5. Fixed the issue where the EQ was invalid after certain operations under the USB DAC mode.
6. Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvements.

Please visit the LC-BT2 Firmware download page and download the FW1.2

just got mine, sound quality is good, slightly above the M3k, using it with my UE900s

The issue is that im getting artifacting, range and some issues with LDAC, i have to test it a bit in APTX-HD, maybe its worth the downgrade for stability.

And yes, first thing i did taking them out of the box was update to 1.2, even if the FiiO control software says its 1.722 for some reason :p

I got a big problem with my LC-BT2... When I'm listning to music via my PC (whilst also connected to my phone) I get this static interference whenever I take my phone close ( like 20-30 cm) to the BT-LC2. I've never had this problem before with any other multi point bluetooth device.

I finally received mine from Hifigo. Tracking was full of suspense. SQ is much better than the stock Fearless cable that came with the Roland. With this and a little EQ, it really opens up. Range is good but has reduced a little after the firmware update. Fit was an issue because of the recessed sockets. Took a chance and superglued it at the outer edges. All well for now.
