I picked this up from a local ebay seller for about $10 plus postage. I don't think I can detect any difference between it and the custom LOD I picked up off a Head-Fi'er. I think Filo claims it is the smallest iPod LOD in the world.

My grandma could build a smaller LOD with 2 hands tied behind her back.

In all seriousness, that's pretty small, although some headfiers have dedicated their lives to building the lowest profile ones possible, and I've seen some pretty dinky ones. Certainly the smallest production one.

Where are you? Mine took two days to arrive.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/iPod-iPhone-L...item27ad5effb8

Here's one in Ireland.

FiiO L1- iPod and iPhone line out cable to 3.5mm jack - eBay USB Cables, Apple iPod Accessories, MP3 Player Accessories, Consumer Electronics. (end time 13-Dec-09 07:53:42 AEDST)

Otherwise, just search for "Fiio L1 LOD" on Ebay.

You guys should check out the cable pro low profile lod , he can make it any way you need it and he is very nice and proffesional to deal with. I have one and it is the best sounding lod I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. It is really amazing.

Durability is my main concern. I already have a custom LOD that i can only use while stationary due to my own mishandling. I mentioned that I couldn't hear the difference between the Fiio and the custom, but others with better hearing might.

I can't say absolutely for sure re: the iPod touch, but the FiiO L1 LOD works with the new 5th generation iPod nano, while an old LOD that works with a 1st generation iPod nano does not work with the 5th generation iPod nano.

Almost certainly, since the L1 was released after the E1. Also, there's this.
