I notice KA15 doesn't have a "power in" usb port like KA17. Does this mean that when connected to a phone it is able to give me 560mW of power in desktop mode?
If so, how fast will my phone battery drain I wonder?

With KA17 this issue is solved with a power bank that I have from Anker.

KA15 at normal listening volume. Current consumption is about 140mA.
1. in order to be smaller, the KA15 does not design a "power in" usb port, but you can achieve the function of separate power supply through some "dual port cable".
2.KA15 can greatly reduce power consumption when pausing or stopping music. This saves electricity. It can also be convenient for some people to set a timed playback while sleeping, and avoid running out of battery the next day

Of course they are not the same thing - where did I say they were the same ?

Advertising filters is nice but does not impact SQ anywhere near as much as EQ.

And who is asking for KA5 to do PEQ?

Did you read what I wrote after FiiO already replied ?

I wrote: "Ok - we need more products with parametric EQ built-in"

This is clearly not in reference to KA5....

Equalizers were very popular in the 1970's but gradually fell out of favor by the 1980's. Since headphone listening has become far more mainstream over the past decade, equalizers are starting to experience a Renaissance. When one considers how much some headphone enthusiasts spend on modifying their headphones, it just makes sense to own a graphic equalizer, which can be used to tailor the sound of your headphones without going to the trouble or expense of having your headphones modified. This is especially true if you own several headphones. And you don't have to spend a fortune on a graphic equalizer. I have been using a Schiit Lokius for the past few years and find it very useful in fine tuning my headphones. Of course there will always be those DIY enthusiasts who want to experiment by modifying their headphones, and this DIY experimentation can be enjoyable and also serve to make useful discoveries in extracting the most sonic benefits from a headphone.

I would like to see a table or set of charts comparing all of Fiio's DAC offerings instead of my having to look all over the internet to make my own table. Their posts here only seem to compare superficially to the KA5 but what if you have another one like the "lowly" KA1? You can't just say it's better. Would like some data to cross-reference easily.
