I find it hilarious you think the V moda is better than the FH7. I guess sound is very subjective and to each its own. I am sure you will find plenty of people that also prefer Beats over FH7 as well given the heavy bass and heavy emphasis on V shape generally. Here's my take, I have the HD800s and Audeze Mobius and FH7 can hold its own against HD800s. Certain tracks I prefer one over the other and FH7 is to my ears overall better than the Audeze. So for all those that think FH7 can't compare against full cans, think again. Honestly, if FH7 isn't sold by FIIOs but another American or European IEM specialists, it can easily be asking for $1k and above pricing without flinching. In this hobby, its too easy to tie asking price with quality or technicality.

Interesting to hear about the HD800s - I have similar findings when comparing FH7:Beyerdynamic T1. IMO The FH7 give relatively speaking a "reference sound" which just is not in the remit of a lot of IEM purchasers when seeking. For me, it's bliss.

Is Anyone had an issue with bluetooth audio stuttering.
M11 with 1.08 firmware, when pairing with sony wh-1000xm3 on LDAC quality priority mode or APT-X HD and wifi OFF, but if switch to LDAC normal mode, no stuttering.

Among the three I prefer the FH7. It has the blackest, deepest bass of all and a musical crispness in mids and treble. Most neutral tonal balance of the three (sans EQ). The SE846's bass also reaches deep down, it just doesn't provide exaclty the same authority and sounds slightly muddier. Mids and highs are clear and smooth, the treble is rather smooth than crisp, but I liked it from the start despite the arguable early drop-off, as it has an organic realism in it. The Andromeda is the sparkle king, the treble sounds very clear and extended, bordering on exaggeration, at least at the upper end. It's a distinct «high-end» sound which has found a lot of friends, also in myself, but I've begun to somewhat withdraw from it, as it isn't organic enough for my taste, not realistic (crisp) enough with some recordings, rather cool than warm. Midrange and bass are very clear and fast as well, but from ~120 Hz downward the amplitude response gently drops off. Not a big deal with a capable equalizer, but unfortunately my FiiO players' lowest EQ frequency band is 31 Hz, which makes for some handicap in comparison to the contenders. In terms of soundstage they are close: 1. Andromeda, 2. FH7, 3. SE846.

Now my above description refers to the sound with optimal equalizing. If you're not into it, I may not be a reliable source of information, as I'm not used to them in their raw factory state anymore. I guess the ranking would persist, although the (mid)bass-emphasized Atlas could be at risk.

Nevertheless, here's my subjective ranking:
1. FH7 + Atlas
2. Andromeda
3. SE846

The SE846 needs to be equipped with a better cable (e.g. FiiO LS-3.5D or ALO Reference 8) to get on a similar level (already respected in the ranking).

If you can, try the se846 with a balanced cable and a very good dav amp. They are picky on the source. But once well feed, they sound awesome from subbass to treble, the only thing they don't have is a super hi res extension beyond 20khz. Also one thing they do astonishingly well is how they present every note, as easy as every instrument I have heard, just sound as they are and super realistic, I have only heard something similar in my speaker setup.

As @Marc0 Ang said, if properly fed, the SE846 still holds the title for me. I really love all three IEMs mentioned, but if I had to choose preference (If I had to part with one, which one ... bottom of list up), they would be:

1. SE846
2. Andromeda
3. FH7

just the opposite of @JaZZ . My ranking is really a ranking of how much head time they get.

The best comparison here is to listen this in-ears with a very good dac/amp, better if use balanced gear, and then decide. also everyone will have a diferent aproach dependant in their preferences. If you use a low end gear like a phone, they will not sound at their best.

Have a SE846, hope the FH7 go lower in price to pull trigger and compare them.

Guys, I own a FH7, and I had no idea, why I didn't like their sound and found them really muddy, and unbalanced. Guess what, none of the ear tips were fit on me, and didn't isolate well. I tried my lost K3003's ear tips, and they sound AMAZING right now. Just Letting you know, none of the ear tips were good in the box!!! I am happy with the product now!

I am using AZLA SednaEarfitLight, sometimes JVC Spiral Dots++, both ML size and more than happy with the sound quality and fit. Did not like the ones coming in the box either.
I am so surprised how much difference they could make, I was about to sell my FH7's, now I love them.

Anyone able to compare the FH7 with the RHA T20i (or the Sony XBA-N3)?

The reason why I'm asking is because I could not stand the treble on the T20i. The T20i and the FH7 are not really comparable at all when looking at the sound signature graphs, but I see many describe the FH7 as bright so I'm curious to hear if they too are too bright?

Right now I got the Sony XBA-N3 (like them quite a lot 4.5 out of 6). Too much bass, but I don't consider them bright. However looking at the sound signature they are actually quite comparable to the FH7 when it comes to treble. Should probably be even slightly brighter. If the FH7 is in the XBA-N3 range then there is nothing to worry about for me in terms of being too bright.

Normally I would just buy them based on the graphs, but a bit more of a hassle to return if I don't like them ordering from China so....

Any input would be appreciated.

We are talking about personal preferences here as what we are listening to is subjective and different to each individual. The percentage difference or "improvement" from "good" IEMs will be quite small. I myself have the SE846 and FH7 and I personally prefer the sound that I hear with the FH7, so much so that I have retired the SE846 and now only seem to use the Fiio with my M11, but that's my opinion and that is based on how I am enjoying the music and not the technicalities. Maybe it might be better to just enjoy the music rather than "argue" about price and graphs?

Anyone know where I can purchase replacement bass (red) filters for the FH7's in Europe? Have reached out to Fiio but don't think they understand what it is I'm looking for as any links they have sent me go to the earphones themselves. I only want replacement filters.

Any assistance much appreciated.
