That is the wrong cable yes. I can't comment on whether or not Amazon sent you the wrong cable though, you may have ordered the wrong cable.

To disconnect an MMCX plug simply hold the connector firmly, not the wire and pull it straight out, it may take a bit of force to disconnect.

That cable is for a Audeze or ZMF the connection in 4 pin mini xlr.

They sent you the totally wrong cable! You ordered a FiiO C-cable. The cable you got doesn't even have the FiiO end plug. Back it goes.

Sorry for your trouble but I appreciate you posting the link. I see that the lc-2.5d is back in stock, which I've been waiting for.
ETA: BTW be careful with the MMCX connectors. I returned the lc-2.5C due to a very unstable fit. It may have been just the ones I received but just a heads up.

Also, I had a bit of trouble removing the stock cable. It's very tight so make sure you grip it as close to the pins as possible and pull straight out.
