I may switch back to the balanced or bass filters because while vibrant I think the treble filters might just be too vibrant with the Spirals. Also Dekoni Bulletz have far more isolation than the Spirals, but that’s always been the case. So for flying or tubing, foams are the only way (and they seal even better with the o-ring mod).My large Spiral Dots arrived yesterday and loving them for superior fit and isolation they give compared to the spinfits. Slightly different sound to spinfits and not sure which I prefer yet. Could be spinfits are slightly more vibrant and exciting sounding altho I use them with the bass filter for optimum results with my ears. Black filters with the Spirals work better than on the spinfits altho I've reverted to bass filter for the moment nonetheless.

How does the o ring mod work for spirals? Are they easy to acquire and idiot proof to install? If yes to both, may have to investigate further...

You just slide the o-ring over the nozzle, push it flush with the earpiece, and then fit the Spiral tip as usual. Pushes it 0.8mm to 1mm forward, depending on the thickness of the o-ring. You don’t want to get an o-ring thicker than 1mm.How does the o ring mod work for spirals? Are they easy to acquire and idiot proof to install? If yes to both, may have to investigate further...
Search a few posts back where @Jujoe pointed to an o-ring you can use.
