I think thats the very reason for them avoiding the #4 also do let us know how the QC is on this one?

I would be concerned that the frequency response falls off a cliff after around 8KHz and never recovers. All the iem measurements that I have seen thus far and then correlated to how I hear them, a lack of presence around 8-10KHz is almost as annoying as having a massive peak in that region.

Nothing specific; I assume the BA(Knowles) in FH5 and F9 Pro will be same. and number of drivers difference is just one. That's why I expressed my views.
I agree that just based on number of drivers one cannot compare prices. There are other things as well

Do you already have them or is this based on what's been shown? I'm curious about the fit since it isn't the usual bean shape.

I contacted FiiO via email and they said the price will be around 259.99 USD and that they are expected in July. Extremely fast response from them which was a nice change from most companies.

They actually replied on the first page here with the same information shortly after this thread was posted, but yeah, seems the support is good, which is a positive sign.
